Return to PTA

Who we are

The PTA is a charity organisation with a mission to make the school a better place for children to learn. Panshanger Primary School PTA brings together parents, teachers, and children to raise funds and strengthen the school community. Money raised is usually spent on things that the school budget does not cover, like the school pool or new playground equipment. Sometimes it is also used for activities than enhance the experiences children have at school such as school outings.

We have a core committee of specific roles, outlined below, and a fantastic team of parent and teacher volunteer who help us run events and activities. If you would like to find out more or get involved, please speak to your class PTA rep or any of the committee members!

The annual PTA AGM was held on Thursday 21st September 2023. The meeting was very well attended and it was great to welcome new faces. Reports were shared from the Chair, the Treasurer and the Headteacher explaining everything the PTA had achieved last year to support the school both financially and socially.

The new committee was formed and the main roles voted upon. Class reps were also decided upon for the next year.

Our next meeting will be in January 2024. Information will be shared to parents nearer the time.
