Year 3 Summer 2nd half term
In history, we loved finding out about life in the Stone Age! We had a great trip to Celtic Harmony for a Stone Age adventure day. At school, we made our own natural dyes using blackberries, spinach, mud and spices, which we then used for cave painting.
We harvested our potatoes and made them into potato kebabs with cheese, tomato and cucumber. They were delicious!
We did all sorts of activities in outdoor week, including nests, teddy tepees and ant trails. Everyone got a medal for completing challenges on their sports bingo card.
We enjoyed our reading week and everyone dressed up as a favourite book character. It’s been a great last half-term. Well done for all your hard work Year three!
