Autumn 1st half term
What a great start to the year! We have worked so hard and had lots of fun too.
In Geography, we have been learning about volcanoes. We started off by making a plasticine model to show the layers of the earth – the core, mantle and the crust.
We have done lots of practical work in Science, including making and excavating our own fossils, testing soil ph and investigating which rocks are the hardest.
In Art, we have been learning how to mix secondary and tertiary colours. We then used our wheels in outdoor week to find natural objects in matching colours.
We had a fantastic day at Cuffley Camp with lots of team building activities. We got a bit muddy but that was all part of the fun!
