Reporting an Absence

If your child is unable to attend school or college due to illness, a medical appointment or for any other reason, please notify the school office by 8:40am.

This can be done either by sending an email to admin2@panshanger.herts.sch.uk or calling the School Office on 01707 328846.

Term Time Absences

Since September 2013, Headteachers are no longer able to agree up to 10 school days in a school year for a family holiday, or to agree to extended leave for a family to visit their country of origin.

This form should be completed and returned to the Headteacher for consideration. If the request is not considered an exceptional circumstance it will be classified as unauthorised absence.

As a parent or carer, you should fill in this form if you wish to take your child out of school during term time for exceptional circumstances.
