SEND/ Inclusion

The management of Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) at Panshanger Primary School is undertaken by Mrs Reed, our SENDCo and Inclusion Leader.  Please contact her via the school office telephone number or her email address if you wish to discuss any issues regarding SEND: amanda.reed@panshanger.herts.sch.uk

The SEND reforms aim to join up help across education, health and care, from birth to 25. The help is to be offered at the earliest possible point, with children with SEND and their parents involved in decisions about the support their child needs and what they want to achieve.  This will help to improve outcomes and to develop more efficient ways of working.

There is a wealth of support for parents and carers in the school and local area.  We are part of the local schools group called DSPL5. Please scroll down for further information. You will also find useful documents giving advice on how you can support your child if they have a special educational need. If you can’t find what you are looking for, just call or email our SENCo or our Family Support Worker via the school office.

For information on how the school supports children with special educational needs please look at the school’s SEND Information Report and our SEND and Inclusion Policy below.
